Temporary Roof – Protecting Against Adverse Weather

Posted on by

Creating a temporary roof can be very challenging when trying to provide protection from adverse weather. Some of the challenges that are faced in these applications include – light transfer, wind resistance and a water resistant barrier.

In this application, The Site Book came up with a solution comprised of Antel Standard Scaffold Sheeting, Butyl Jointing Tape and Translucent Antinox Protection Board. Antel Scaffold Sheeting coupled with Butyl Waterproof Jointing Tape provided the water resistant barrier and light transfer that was required. Antinox Translucent Protection Board was also used to provide additional stability on the underside whilst still allowing light transfer.
